Before the ride you enter a series of rooms. Each contains televisions showing footage of what's currently going on at the institute. Biff is on the loose. "We are currently experiencing a systems failure on our security network. Time travel volunteers, please stand by. Doctor Brown will be with you in just a moment, and we will begin preparation for our journey one day into the future. The new 8 passenger DeLorean is curently running its pre-time travel systems checks. Please stand by." We then see Einstein watching the security camera screens. Biff appears on one and Einstien barks alarm. Biff punches the camera and the signal is gone. Doc runs over, realizes Biff Tannen is near and warns "If Tannen gets his hands on some of the equipment aound here at the institute, It could mean the end of the very universe as we know it." Rather worked up, he continues "anyway... enjoy the rest of your visit." "Now if my assumption is correct, Biff must have entered the complex diabolically disguised as one of you. Now it's not your fault, but I'd check my name with a loved one if I were you. And remember, Biff can be persuasive, but dont listen to him! ...Einie, watch the monitors!" Einstein momentarily leaves the security screens to go to his food bowl, and Biff appears once again on the security camera. Biff says "Hello, hello anybody home? Hey what're you looking at butthead? Hey wait a second, you're the suckers Doc Brown conned into his time travel experiment. You know some of Browns guinea pigs never make it back." He continues and begins to devise his plan to steal one of Doc's DeLoreans. Meanwhile, Doc returns and explains how you will travel in one of his new 8 passenger DeLoreans, only for those who take time travel very seriously. Soon you will be ready to travel one day into the future. We return to seeing Biff, who is being chased buy some of the security. He throws a bucket of small balls at the floor and they fall behind him. Biff shouts, "Have a nice trip...see you next winter!" One of the security guard shouts "It's Fall you idiot! See you next fall!" The main video that is seen by everyone is eventually in a small room before the ride. Up until now, the plan has been that you were only going to go one day into the future. On the last screen, however, you see Biff lock Doc Brown in his office. Two security guards are tied up. One of them explains that they were conducting an experiment in 1955, and that Biff must of stowed away. Biff laughs and steals one of the DeLoreans to zoom away. Doc doesn't know what to do, until he realizes he can send you to get Biff. In order to send Biff back to the institute, he explains, you must bump his car at 88 miles per hour. He will use a small remote control to send you off after him...and now you are ready to take off!. |

In order to send biff back to the institute you must bump his car at 88 miles per hour. You enter an 8 passenger DeLorean equipped with a flux capacitor and small screen in the front of the car. On the screen is a "sub-ether time-tracking scanner" (so that you will know where Biff is,) and your engine status. It can show views Doc in his office and Biff in his stolen DeLorean. Doc reminds you, "When you see BIff, accelerate to 88 miles per hour and bump him! .........55......65....75.....85....88!!!" Your DeLorean leans back and you shoot off into the year 2015. Dodging cars and hitting signs, you are jarred from left to right, up and down. You crash through a Texaco sign and narrowly miss smashing into glass airwalks across the street. After passing several signs and walkways, blasting through tree branches, and passing the Jaws 19 theater, you crash through the clocktower and travel back to an underground cave. Suddenly your engine dies and you are about to fall straight to the ground towards a canyon river. The small screen inside the Delorean shows the Engine status...it's flashing FAILURE. At the last second the engine kicks in and you shoot backwards and back in time to where Biff is...he's just flown straight into the center of a large volcanoe. Doc warns "Prepare yourselves people. I suspect that the primevil Hill Valley we're about to enter could be a pretty rough place." This is where you soon encounter a dinosaur. It hits Biff, and his flux capacitor is broken. Once you narrowly escape being swallowed (actually you are swallowed...!), you chase after Biff to where he is about to land in a lava fall and bump him. Traveling back to the Institute and crashing through the door, you see Biff, surrounded by security who hose down the car. "Thanks Doc Brown. You saved my life," Biff starts. "BUTTHEADS! Get your meathooks off of me..." The door rolls up in front of you and your adventure is complete. (Now you run back and get in line again!!!) As you get out of the DeLorean from underneath the lap bar, Doc whispers "Hurry up, get out...before you meet yourself coming in!" |
